i thought it might make my track run today totally sucky. but nope. we were fast today. 2 miles in 20:45. woot! 70 seconds faster than last week. the 400 m splits: 2:29, 2:35, 2:33, 2:34, 2:39 (can you tell we're tiring?), 2:39, 2:41, 2:31. it was by no means easy. but the great thing about a fast 2 miles is that the pain is brief and the pride lasts all night!
p.s. to answer anne's question about the photo collage below. i used this to create the collage from photos i uploaded to my flickr account. now that i've replaced my broken digital camera, i hope to resume my picture a day effort.

Ohhhhh I *heart* Cheez-Its and Better Cheddars.
Thanks for linky to the photo dealy. I've been meaning to ask but always forget :P (Thanks Anne!) I think I'm gonna steal this from you hehe
Mmmm, Cheez-Its. I have a difficult time closing a box of Wheat Thins when they're near. And those aren't even reduced fat. They just have "thin" in the title and I'm fooled.
I think that if you're training for anything food should be your favorite activity. It's the only thing that will keep you going! Plus, I like to use it as motivation.
If I haven't mentioned it before: when I have a big ol' burrito, whole pizza or something else that's disgustingly but deliciously enormous, I use it to power my training. When I tire, I just remind myself that I have a sweet potato, a big bowl of gnocchi, rice, beans and cupcakes to run on. Whether it's purely mental, I feel like I then take that energy and run with it. It worked for a half marathon... perhaps it will for the full.
I don't believe I have ever had a Cheez-It. Just doesn't sound delicious to me.
But I loved your comment about being "reduced bad"! Can the same be said about consuming excessive quantities of light beer? I'm just "light bad"?
I'm more a cereal fiend...artificial cheese flavor does nothing for me. great splits on your run...
Cheez-its are the ultimate cycling fuel!!! :-)
Do NOT try Cheez-Its in White Cheddar flavor. I repeat, DO NOT DO IT - you will be sorry.
(I eat whole boxes.)
Awesome run!!
I personally don't like cheez-its. I thank God every day. :P
"Reduced bad" - ha! I love it!
Nice run, like the splits!
mmmm. I heart Cheez-its too!
I always wonder: How do we know for sure they are reduced fat? As our resident runner foodie, I am hoping you know the answer.
And thanks for the link to the photo collage software. You're awesome!
Yummo, I love Cheez-Its as well.
cheez-its make you faster...? That is the best news I've heard in a long time!
